The educational program (EP) of the bachelor 6B11101 – «Tourism» correlates with the mission, goals and objectives of the Academy for integration into the world educational space and trends of industrial and innovative development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is formulated taking into account the content of the State Mandatory Standard of Higher Education, Professional standards and regulatory documents in the field of tourism, as well as the requirements and requests of potential consumers. The implementation of the OP is aimed at training highly qualified and in-demand bachelors in the field of tourism and hospitality.
The peculiarity of the educational program is the training of a modern specialist capable of qualitatively carrying out professional activities in the field of management of different levels of tourism industry enterprises, creation and promotion of tourist products, formation of tourist offers, popularizing the tourist brand of Kazakhstan around the world. The uniqueness of the ЕP «Tourism» is the opportunity to obtain additional qualifications during basic training. Graduates of this educational program possess universal and professional competencies that ensure effective activity at enterprises of the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as are ready for professional formation and career growth and self-development, possess skills in related areas that allow for rapid retraining.
As part of the educational program, in addition to the main program, students master additional educational programs of the «Organization of excursion business».
The educational program «Tourism» is constantly being developed in accordance with new trends in the tourism and hospitality industry, with the participation of stakeholders.
