The educational program (EP) of the bachelor’s degree 6B11102 – «Restaurant and hotel business» correlates with the mission, goals and objectives of the Academy for integration into the world educational space and trends of industrial and innovative development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is formulated taking into account the content of the State mandatory Standard of Higher Education, Professional standards and regulatory documents in the field of catering and hotel business at the international and regional level, the requirements and requests of potential consumers.
The uniqueness of the educational program lies in the training of a modern specialist for the hospitality industry, capable of implementing professional activities in the field of restaurant and hotel business. Students have the opportunity to take additional courses barista, sommelier, maitre d’hotel, etc., aimed at deepening competencies for a particular sector of hospitality, thereby contributing to the professional development of the student already during the development of the ЕP «Restaurant and hotel business».
Graduates of this educational program possess universal and professional competencies that ensure effective activity at enterprises of the hospitality industry, as well as are ready for professional formation and career growth and self-development, possess skills in related areas that allow for rapid retraining.
