On May 6, 2026, as part of the international ERASMUS+ DIANA project—”Empowering Women through the Development and Implementation of Entrepreneurship in Rural Tourism in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan,” an informational meeting with students was held at the Academy of Sports and Tourism.
During the meeting, students were presented with information on the goals and objectives of the project, which aims to develop entrepreneurship in rural tourism and expand women’s economic opportunities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Students were informed about the prospects for rural tourism development, international experience in sustainable tourism, and opportunities to participate in the project’s educational and research initiatives. Particular attention was paid to youth entrepreneurship, innovative approaches in tourism, and the development of professional competencies.
The meeting served as a platform for discussing current trends in tourism, exchanging opinions, and increasing student interest in international educational projects and academic collaboration.
