STUDENTS OF KAZAST ARE KNOWN AS THE BEST ON VOLLEYBALL

       On October 28, within the framework of the program “SportS Almaty» a competition among students of higher educational institutions of the city of Almaty was held at the sports complex of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism.

“Compared to last year, a lot of teams participated in the competition. The number of participants doubled, which is great! The level of competition is also high! And in the near future we have planned to hold competitions among students in mini-football”- said Aliya Shaykhan, organizer of the Sport Almaty program.

I must say that 37 teams participated, 350 students of different ages from different universities of Almaty.

– Today’s competition began with the victory of our athletes, the rivals were weak. We thank the organizers! We will try to show a beautiful game, – a 2-year student of KazAST Bagdat Kadyrbay shared his impressions.

As a result, students of KazAST were recognized as the strongest. They demonstrated a very interesting and exciting game. Both girls and boys were awarded the gold medal. The Almaty Energy Team won second place among the boys. The third place was taken by the team of Narxoz. The second place among the girls went to the team …… and the third place was taken by the team.

Winners and prize-winners were awarded with medals, diplomas and gifts.
