Research Activities of Students of the Department of Track and Field Athletics

Students and master’s degree candidates actively participate in the department’s research activities while completing their graduation projects and master’s theses. At the academy’s annual conferences of faculty and students, presentations were delivered by V. N. Avsiyevich, Zh. S. Mukhambet, G. A. Plakhuta, P. A. Delver, as well as master’s students S. A. Kondratenko, I. V. Babakov, and other instructors.

Each year, the department submits student and master’s research papers to the National (Republican) competition of research works. From 2019 to 2021, the department’s master’s students became prize winners of this competition and were awarded diplomas by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Students of the department annually participate in the Republican Student Olympiad in the subject “Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sport,” where they regularly win prize places.

First place in the Republican Competition of Student Research was awarded to fourth-year student Elizaveta Dostovalova for her project titled “Study of the Relationship between the Complexity of Technical Elements in BMX Racing and Competitive Performance of Highly Qualified Cyclists.”
