
The third day of training within the framework of the international project “Formation of practical competencies for servicing people with disabilities in Kazakhstan”, which is implemented within the framework of the RITA (Region in Transition) Program. The project is co-financed by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation within the framework of the RITA Program – “Region in Transition”, implemented by the Education for Democracy Foundation.
This day was dedicated to adaptive swimming. During the first half of the day, participants attended a lecture on the topic “The Importance of Swimming and Requirements for Aquatic Facilities for People with Special Needs.” The lecture was delivered by an experienced Polish specialist, Alexander Skaliy.
After the lecture on the importance of aquatic activities, a practical session was held in the KazAST swimming pool, where participants learned methods for overcoming obstacles and the basics of the Halliwick method.
