Guest Lecture on the Topic: “The Importance of Healthy Eating in Maintaining Youth Health and Sports Nutrition”
On March 3, 2025, a guest lecture on the topic “The Importance of Healthy Eating and Sports Nutrition in Maintaining Youth Health” was organized in the conference hall of KazAST. The speakers were faculty members of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, “Nutrition” Department named after Academician T. Sharmanov Kozhakmetova Aigul, Associate Professor, and Chuenbekova Ardak, c.m.s., Associate Professor.
The event was attended by faculty members and students of KazAST. The lecture provided both theoretical and practical information on the role of healthy eating and the specifics of sports nutrition. The speakers answered all the participants’ questions, mainly regarding the proper nutrition regimen for athletes.
At the end of the seminar, a joint meeting of the working group on collaborative scientific activities was held. The meeting was attended by Doshybekov A.B., Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development of KazAST, Kenzhebekova G.U., c.t.s., Head of the Science and International Relations Department at KazAST, Kisebayev Z.S., c.b.s., Head of the Department of Anatomy, Physiology, and Sports Medicine at KazAST, Mazhenov S.T., c.b.s., Director of the Sports Research Institute at KazAST, Bekembetova R.A., c.b.s., Senior Researcher at the Sports Research Institute, and delegate of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov Kainarbaeva M.S., Head of the “Nutrition” Department at KazNMU, Ushanskaya E.Yu., c.m.s., Associate Professor, Berdygaliyev A.B., c.m.s., Associate Professor, Chuenbekova A.B., c.m.s., Associate Professor, Kozhakmetova A.N., Associate Professor.
The issues of joint participation in grant and program-targeted financing competitions, cooperation in joint training of scientific personnel and internships for faculty members and students were discussed.
