Academy students became judo prize winners in competitions for the Asian Cup in Aktau

       From 3 to 4 November 2018 In the sports complex “Mangystau-Arena” in Aktau, judo competitions were held in memory of Turar Zholdybaev for the Asian Cup. The open Asian Sport Cup has been held since 2009. This year, over 100 of the strongest judo players from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Greece, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan participated in this tournament, which takes place in Kazakhstan.

       Kazakhstan national team won the first place in the team event winning 7 gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze medals. The second place was taken by the Greek team who won 4 gold, and the third place was taken by the team of Tajikistan, in the arsenal of which 1 gold and 1 silver medal. The students and undergraduates of the wrestling department who participated from our Academy won the following prizes:
