Educational and methodological work of the Department of Athletics, Winter and Combined Technical Sports

Over the past three years, teachers of the department have completed 120 hour advanced training courses. In December 2019, 72 hour courses “Psychological Training of Athletes”, which were conducted by the Institute for the Professional Development of a Teacher, were held with: G.Plakhuta, B.A. Sakayev,S.Kanapyanov, V.N. Avsievich, Zh.Mukhambet.

In January 2020, the 36 hour course “Innovative technologies in the modern educational process”, under KazAST passed – G.Plakhuta, S.S. Kanapyanov.

The teaching and methodical commission of the department (P.A. Delver, B.A. Sakayev, V.N. Avsievich) determines the main directions of this work, approves the working programs, tests, examination cards, texts of lectures.

The teachers of the department on the basis of standard programs developed working training programs on credit technology in the disciplines of the main direction – specialization skiing 8 EMCD, ATP ski sport 8 EMCD, discipline PhEd “Ski Sport” for 1-year students in Russian and Kazakh language, for Sillabus students and handouts that are made out to form elective textbooks.

The department has educational and methodical videos and videos of competitions at the World Cup, World Championships, Olympic Games in cross-country skiing, biathlon, alpine skiing, ski jumping, freestyle, cycling, shooting sports, speed skating and figure skating.

       In addition, there are records on the disks “history of the winter world universiade”, “history of the department”, “records of five electronic textbooks”. This information can be obtained by students of the department both during classes and at convenient time for them.

In addition to the library fund, the department has its own educational and methodical literature.
