Sports Department of Sports Games

In the 2022-2023 academic year, teachers of the Department of Sports Games implemented new methods and effective elements of innovative technologies in the preparation of national teams. The training process was approached comprehensively with mandatory participation in competitions of various ranks: city and regional competitions, Championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan, championships, student leagues and various international competitions.

One of the greatest achievements of this year, Abdumalik Zhansaya, who updated the world chess record. In the National Student 3×3 Basketball League, our girls became winners and received a ticket to the Super League in Russia.

Results of sports work in the period 2021-2024 academic years:

 

The year 2021

  1. The players of the KazAST women’s national team: Tileubai Ayaulym, Kulbekova Shyryn and Bushmelova Diana as part of the Almaty region national team took 1st place in the 3×3 Basketball Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among girls under 23 years old.
  2. The KazAST team took 1st place in the Republican 3×3 Women’s basketball tournament in Almaty.
  3. The Department of Sports Games also took 1st place in the Spartakiad among the staff and teaching staff of KazAST.
  4. At the XI Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the KazAST women’s national team took 3rd place in basketball.
  5. At the XI Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the KazAST women’s national team took 1st place in handball.
  6. At the XI Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the KazAST men’s national team took 1st place in handball.
  7. Daria Detkovskaya became the winner of the Czech Republic and several international tennis competitions.

 

2022

  1. Kaz STA women’s team takes 1st place in the National Student Basketball League.
  2. Student Basketball League among girls of Almaty universities 2nd place
  3. Student Volleyball League among girls of Almaty universities 2nd place
  4. Student Volleyball League among boys of Almaty universities 2nd place
  5. In the Spartakiad, the Department of Sports Games took 1st place among KazAST employees and teachers.
  6. The KazAST team took 1st place at the republican tournament “OPEN QONAEV” 3x3basketball in the city of Kunaev, Almaty region.
  7. At the republican 3×3 basketball tournament “JUMBA COLA” in Almaty, the KazAST team took 1st place, Kazsta1 2nd place, Kazsta3 3rd place.
  8. 1st place in the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 3×3 basketball among girls under 23 years old players of the KazAST women’s national team.
  9. The boys and girls volleyball team of the National Student League, held in Almaty, took 1st place in Almaty.
  10. 3×3 Basketball Superfinal in Moscow ASB T.

 

2023

 

  1. In honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the KazAST women’s basketball team took 2nd place among universities
  2. In honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the KazAST boys basketball team took 3rd place among universities
  3. In honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the women’s national volleyball team of Kazakhstan took 1st place among universities
  4. In honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the boys’ national volleyball team among universities
  5. In the 3×3 ALMA CUP basketball tournament, organized by the Students’ Alliance with the support of the Almaty City Youth Policy Department, the KazAST boys and girls team took 3rd place.
  6. In the ALMA CUP volleyball tournament, organized by the Students’ Alliance with the support of the Almaty City Youth Policy Department, the KazAST girls’ team took 1st place, the boys’ team took 2nd place.
  7. The national team of boys of the Students’ Basketball League of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held in Atyrau, took 3rd place.
  8. The women’s national team of the Kazakh Student Basketball League of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which took 2nd place in Atyrau.
  9. At the XII Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the national team of KazAST boys in 3×3 baskball took 2nd place.
  10. At the XII Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the KazAST women’s 3×3 baskball team took 3rd place.

2024

In 2024, Timofey Skatov, a 3rd year student, won two Davis Cup matches against athletes with 25 and 27 ranking places in the world of tennis players, bringing 2 points to the team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
