Research work of students of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Physical Culture and Sports
On October 19, 2021, a psychological training for students entitled “Development of students’ emotional intelligence through interactive design” was held at the Academy under the guidance of the head of the Department “Theoretical Foundations of Physical Culture and Sports” Belegova Aliya Akanbaevna.
The idea of the project was interactive games and exercises that are catalysts for the development of students’ emotional intelligence.
Doctoral students of the L.N.Gumilyov ENU Nabi Gulzi Askenovna and Sadykova Aigul Kudaibergenovna, as well as the head of educational trajectories, Professor of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University Bulakbaeva Meiramgul Kenesbaevna acted as speakers at the training. They organized appropriate conditions for the acquaintance and development of emotional intelligence of girls and boys studying at the university through their participation in interactive games and exercises.
Students took an active part in various games and exercises, such as: “Favorite song”, “My Planet”, “How do we work with our stresses?”, “Negative/positive emotions”, “How do I see myself in 10 years”, “Balloon Festival”.

Project idea: interactive games and exercises are catalysts for the development of students’ emotional intelligence
The purpose of the training: to organize appropriate conditions for the acquaintance and development of emotional intelligence of girls and boys studying at the university, through their participation in interactive games and exercises.
Necessary equipment: a spacious auditorium, stationery (flipcharts, markers, whiteboard, gouache, brushes, glasses with water, paper tape, scissors, colored paper, stickers, colored paper and more).

Session 1. The word of the organizers. Acquaintance.Work in small groups. The game “Favorite song”.
Session 2.Individual reflection. Exercise “My Planet”Self-presentation of participants.
Session 3. Work in medium groups. Presentations of group developments. “How do we work with our stresses?”
Session 4. Working with gouache. “Negative/positive emotions”. Interrelated presentations: (observers’ point of view on the drawings of negative /positive emotions), comments of the authors of their drawings.
Session 5.Working with stickers. “How I see myself in 10 years.” Support of 2 volunteers: reading the anonymous submissions of participants after 10 years, strengthening the dreams of the guys through the manifestation of group support.
