Nurmukhanbetova Dinara Kenzheevna

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism

In 1986, she graduated from the Kazakh Institute of Physical Culture, earning the qualification of Physical Education Teacher. After graduation, she worked as a physical education teacher at Republican Boarding School No. 2. Since 1990, she has been working at the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism. Throughout her career, she has progressed from lecturer and senior lecturer to associate professor, Head of the Department of Gymnastics and Swimming, Dean of the Faculty of Olympic Sports, and Vice-Rector for Educational and Sports Activities (2011–2014). Since 2014, she has served as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism.

She is the author of more than 60 scientific publications, including three monographs and ten teaching manuals, and holds five copyright certificates. She is a member of the Educational and Methodological Association and the Republican Educational and Methodological Council in the field of Pedagogical Sciences. She also serves as Chair of the Educational and Methodological Association for the higher education programme Training of Physical Education Teachers.

She was awarded the title of “Best University Teacher” in 2009 and 2020. Her honours include the Y. Altynsarin Badge of Honour awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2018); the badge “For Merit in the Development of Science” (2024); the badge “For Merit in the Development of Physical Culture and Sport” awarded by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2014); and the medal “For Special Contribution to the Development of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism” (2019). Under her supervision, two doctoral (PhD) dissertations have been successfully defended. She is a Candidate for Master of Sport in swimming and holds the title of National Judge of the Highest Category.
