Zakiryanov Baurzhan Kairatovich

PhD, Doctor of Business Administration. Since 2012, he has been the rector of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism. In 1993, he entered the East Kazakhstan State University, majoring in Management. In 1999, he completed his Master’s degree in International Economic Relations at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2000-2005, he studied at the doctoral program of the University of St. Petersburg. Masaryk (Brno, Czech Republic). In 2009, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor PhD. In 2014, he completed his DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) program at the Swiss Business School and successfully defended his thesis in Zurich. Successfully completed the following courses: “Management of Higher Education” (Seattle, USA);” International Business Leadership “(Bozeman, Montana, USA); the program” Leadership in Educational Business “of the State University of Montana (USA); a series of seminars” Global Partnership in Business “(Nevada, USA);” International cooperation and Academic Mobility ” (Nicosia, Northern Cyprus). He took advanced training courses in various agencies and state institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He worked in the tax committees of Zhetysu and Bostandyk districts of Almaty. Since 2004, he has been working at the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism in various positions. Speaks English and Czech.
