Yeskaliev Mukhtar

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Vice-rector for Educational and Sports Affairs at the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism.

He graduated with honors in 1994 from the Kazakh Institute of Physical Culture with a qualification in “Teacher of physical culture” and coach.

After graduation, he was accepted as a trainee teacher at the Department of Basketball and Handball of KazIFK and worked his way up from a teacher of the Department of Sports Games, head of the Department of Sports Games, vice-rector for educational and sports work, first vice-rector-Head of the management staff.

Author of over 35 scientific publications, 3 teaching aids, and 1 monograph.

Awarded the Silver Medal named after “Akhmet Baitursynov” by the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for achievements in educational, scientific and educational activities (2017), the “Altyn Kyran” medal (2018) by the International Kazakh Creative Association “Beibitshilik Alemi” for contributions to the field of sports, improvement of well-being, positive solution of social problems, honor and dignity, as well as for organizational skills.

He was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Dene shynyktyru zhane sportty damytuga sinirgen yenbegi ushin” (2019), the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (2020), a letter of Thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2022).
