Report of the Department of National Sports and Wrestling for the 1st half of the 2023-2024 academic year on sports work
Teachers of the Department of “National sports and wrestling” take part in advanced training courses, lectures and practical training for republican students. The teachers of the department took part in competitions of regional, national and international levels in different regions of the country and, together with the Association for Wrestling of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional and city sports schools, campaigned and worked together to bring prize-winning athletes to the Academy.
Students of the Department of “National sports and wrestling” successfully perform at national and international competitions.

8-9.12.2023, in honor of the 32nd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 37th anniversary of the December 1986 events, an open Kazakh kuresi championship was held for the prizes of the victim of the december events, E.Sypataeva. The number of participants is 150 athletes.
On 8.10.2023, the XXVI wrestling Festival dedicated to the memory of K. R. Baydosov took place. There were friendly meetings with wrestlers of Uzbekistan. An open wrestling championship was held in the city of Almaty. The organization of these competitions was attended by teachers and professors of the Department of National Sports and Wrestling.
1-2.12.in 2023, the staff of the department took part in the republican tournament among university students dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD, professor M. N. Shepetyuk.
