Research work of the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Sports Medicine

The department actively conducts research work on medical and biological problems of physical culture and sports, scientific and methodological support for training athletes (Kudashova LR, Bugybaeva S.Zh., Ya.I. Nevsky, Lesbekova R.B.).

The main scientific direction of the department: the adaptation of the body to muscle activity.

The problem of the research is the Peculiarities of adaptation of the reserve capacity of the organism engaged in physical culture and sports.

The urgency of the problem. At the present stage of development of sports, when physical activity in sports are at the limit of the functioning of the biological systems of the body, so the increase in sports training involved in physical culture and sports should be based only on a deep knowledge of the mechanisms of adaptation of the body to muscle load of different directions. In the physiology of physical education and sports insufficiently studied and require further scientific justification of the impact of different means of physical education and sports training on the body, the correct dosage of the load depending on the individual reserves of the body associated with both hereditary inclinations and acquired during training. The absence of this information hinders science-based management qualification that leads to the disruption of adaptation mechanisms, to injuries, poor performances of the athletes in competition, as in the course of employment by mass sports and recreational field in physical culture and sports of the higher achievements.

Research problem:

1. To determine the level of preparedness involved in cyclic, game sports and martial arts (wrestling, kickboxing, weightlifting, swimming, volleyball, karate, skiing, etc.).
2. To give the analysis of level of preparedness of athletes and compliance of their model indicators in the chosen sport.
3. Explore the functionality of athletes and develop model characteristics for different periods of training.

4.Give practical recommendations for improving the training process.

Basic research equipment of the Department:

The faculty of the department annually participates in international scientific conferences( scientific and methodological conferences of the Faculty), is a member of the Council of Young Scientists, publishes research results in the journal “Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture”.
