Scientific advisory council
The Scientific advisory council (SAC) is an expert and advisory body carrying out:
– preliminary examination of master’s and doctoral dissertations.
– planning and coordination of scientific research in a specific area
– discussion of the most important scientific directions.
SAC conducts work under the leadership of the Department of Science and International relation, which oversees their activities.
SAC is responsible for the quality and objectivity of the examination of the scientific works under consideration and for the validity of the decisions made. They are designed to ensure a high level of exactingness in determining the compliance of works with the criteria established by the current Rules for awarding academic degrees of the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
