Educational work of the Department of Social and humanitarian disciplines
The educational work of the SRS department is carried out in accordance with plans approved by the deans of the faculties of the Academy.
Particular attention in working with students is paid to the moral education of youth, the formation of a legal culture, the education of internationalism and patriotism, and tolerance. This is facilitated by the content of such disciplines as “Modern History of Kazakhstan”, “Political Science”, “Sociology”, “Philosophy”, “Cultural Studies”.

The opening speech was started by our guest, head of the Almaty Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Salimbaev Kanat Asembayuly. In his speech, he presented the “Concept of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026.”

The Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines held an educational conversation dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Head of the department A.A. Ibraimova, in her preface, emphasized that the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an important historical day, and on the occasion of this historical day, a meeting was organized at the academy level.
“Basics of mediation and the role of the mediator in resolving disputes”
On November 2, 2022, coordinator of the Mediation Center of the Republican public association “International Human Rights Center”, lawyer, psychologist Aida Orysbaevna Zamanbekova gave a guest lecture on the topic: “Fundamentals of mediation and the role of the mediator in resolving disputes” organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. At the lecture, issues such as the concept and essence of mediation, its advantages and opportunities, the procedure for conducting the mediation procedure, as well as the role of the mediator in resolving family and labor disputes were discussed.
Activities to educate patriotism, internationalism and humanism:
On March 1, 2023, at the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, senior lecturer of the department of social and humanitarian disciplines, master Tebegenova Elvira Temirkhanovna gave a lecture on the topic “My Motherland is Kazakhstan,” dedicated to March 1 – Thanksgiving Day. During the lecture, the achievements of the Republic of Kazakhstan over the years of independence, its position and development in the international arena were reported. At the same time, the students told a parable about patriotism and love for the Motherland. In conclusion, the students shared their impressions of the general lecture and the new knowledge they had gained. The lecture was attended by students from groups RSL-22-1, TUR-22-1, RSTOUR-22-1 of the Faculty of Tourism.

March 15, 2023 The annual student scientific conference of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities was held.
On March 30, 2023, the regional director of JSC LIC NOMAD LIFE Oralbekova Gulmira Kurbanovna and the representative of compliance control of the management of JSC LIC NOMAD LIFE Olga Milova made a report to students and the teaching staff of the Academy regarding financial literacy and combating financial pyramids .
In November 2022, Associate Professor Samaldykova Z.M. held a round table dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day. The round table was attended by 2nd year students of the faculties of FOS and FPSE.
On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day on November 22, 2023, the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities held a guest lecture on the topic “Formation of anti-corruption consciousness and anti-corruption culture” among students and the teaching staff of the Academy.
